BA (Hons) Business and Management (Law) with Integrated Foundation Year
The four-year programme begins with an Integrated Foundation Year in Business Management, introducing students to essential business principles within the context of law. It emphasises communication skills, enabling students to articulate ideas effectively in both written and verbal formats while familiarising them with key digital tools and academic practices.
The undergraduate programme fosters creativity within a supportive learning environment. You’ll gain comprehensive training in business and management processes while exploring essential legal concepts through modules such as Exploring Law in Business and a final-year project. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur with bold business ideas or aiming for a successful career in the corporate world, this programme equips you with the skills and confidence to thrive in today’s competitive business environment - while giving you a strong legal edge.
LLB (Hons) Law with Integrated Foundation Year
The LLB (Hons) Law program offers a comprehensive understanding of the legal system, including criminal, constitutional, contract, tort, and property law. It emphasises the development of critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to apply legal theories to real-world scenarios. Key components include legal research and writing, mooting, and advocacy training. Students engage in discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to hone their problem-solving and ethical decision-making abilities. The program prepares graduates for various career paths, including legal practice, further academic studies, and roles in sectors requiring legal expertise, ensuring they are well-equipped for professional success.
CertHE Law
The Certificate of Higher Education in Law provides students with a structured introduction to legal study through four Level 4 modules. Together, these modules develop core academic and analytical skills while offering foundational knowledge of key areas of English law. It equips students with an essential grounding in legal systems, legal skills, legal reasoning and critical reflection and analysis.
The Cert HE is designed both as a standalone qualification and as a pathway into further legal study. The programme delivers three of the seven ‘Foundations of Legal Knowledge’ as required for law degrees by the Bar Standards Board for the academic stage of professional qualification. Successful completion may enable students to progress into the second year of an LLB at a range of universities, subject to their specific entry and progression requirements.
